the /msg nickserv register issues

I logged onto the Zandronum IRC and attempted to register my nickname using a
command of the form

/msg NickServ register password ********@gmail.com

and I received the standard message

[13:36:36] [NickServ]: An email containing nickname activation instructions has
been sent to ***********@gmail.com .
[13:36:36] [NickServ]: If you do not complete registration within one day, your
nickname will expire.

The problem is that I never receive an email (I checked spam filters and etc.).
I have done this process twice now, and both times my nickname expires without
ever having received an email. What should I do next? Try different combination
of emails? I don't remember having this issues with my older nicknames (now
expired).

I feel dumb and am probably going to feel dumber once I read a reply, but any
help would be sincerely appreciat

Every second guy who tries to register gets into this shit. Every single guy I've ever helped to register got into this shit.
IRC email server is retarded. This is just the way it is. We need a petition to Konar6 to disable email activation.

...too bad Konar6 is afk.
Although you might try contacting him. His preferred name on IRC is Konar2016 and he's the global admin/host of the IRC. Should be able to help if he ever stops being afk.

I've identified the problem with some e-mails not being delivered recently. Actually only Google e-mails are affected and that is because Google has suddenly decided to alter its e-mail dropping policy and rejects any messages that do not meet its criteria. I've updated the DNS configuration to make Google like us again, so this should be fixed.
