How to get Proper Co-op episode behavior

with the proper intermission at the end of episodes and moving to the next one.

By default it appears to simply restart the episode upon completion
is there a dmflag?

also does the dmflag weapon remain after pickup apply to both DM and Coop?

If you're talking about Doom 1, Doom 1 was not meant to be played from one episode to the next.
But you can make a maplist so you can.
Also yes, Weapon Stay should apply to co-op too.

IIRC there is no net code to handle the text screens, so they won't work properly online.
