Tor exit node + Zandonum IRC

I run a tor exit node from my VPS. I also use this VPS to leave irssi running 24/7 and chill in the many irc channels I like to hang out in. I have gotten all the irc operators (wrong title maybe) to whitelist my VPS's IP except irc.skulltag.net . Would you guys please whitelist my IP so I can connect. I can PM the IP address to you if you give me the go ahead. This will at least prevent other from seeing the IP and using it to connect anonymously.
No signs of abuse had been seen from any of the other irc servers that have allowed my tor exit node so not to worry.
Is this the wrong place to ask? Can I be redirected if so?
help & support cmon I need help & support.

I have no idea. I would say ask in #staff, but that won't work for obvious reasons....

This would be up to Konar6. Please be patient for his response.

Is there a reason why you're trying to connect via your Tor node rather than through your VPS directly? TOR is an anonymity network, and is banned on IRC networks for a reason. If you just connect through your VPS itself there would be no issue.
Unless there's some benefit that you're getting by connecting via your Tor node that I'm not seeing here.

I'm not connecting through my tor exit node. I'm connecting using the same server the tor exit node is running on. My VPS IS the tor exit node so it has the same public IP. The world sees me coming from the same IP wether I'm in a shell on the VPS using irssi irc client connecting to them or connecting to them with my traffic tunneling through the tor exit node out the VPS. nahmean?
Also there is never a good reason to block , restrict or prevent people who are trying to be private/anonymous wether it be in the virtual or the physical world.

How do you propose to ban anonymous people from Zandronum?

Trying to ban 9 people who were being jackoffs is not a good enough reason to prevent everyone else from being anonymous for privacy reasons. That's just my opinion.
I would say it is stupid to even try to ban them because there are plenty ways to change IP and re-connect but I do agree with banning shitposters, cheaters and trolls.

The problem is that those people would most likely come back using the anonymous proxy and begin to wreak more havoc. There's no way to prevent that other than banning the proxy. In my opinion it's just a lesser of two evils.

AFAIK lists of proxy IPs are available on the Internet and even distributed as ready to use for example in Linux deny.hosts file. Banning all free proxies ain't that hard.

Ahh alright yeah I understand now, I mis-read your first post. I gotcha.

While that's true for most of the Internet, this is a small game community where bans are necessary, and allowing banned people to proxy their way back in via an anonymous tunnel completely undermines the ban in the first place.
