Server Management

I decided to host a server on Doomseeker, so after setting everything up, and pressing "Start Server" the Zandronum Server Console appears, and runs it commands. at the end I see the current map's name and "compatflags changed to:0" and the game does not start. I can't seem to figure out how to enter my own server, and was wondering if there was a certain command I had to use in the Console to place myself within it. I also wanted to figure out if my server shows up in the browser for other players as well.
OS: Ubuntu 15.10
P.S: I am new to Doomseeker server hosting, so any help/advice is appreciated.

I don't think it's really a problem, I just need to figure out how to enter my server because I don't know how to do so, and make sure others can connect as well...they're more like questions.

There should be an option to join the server under one of the top left window tabs.

To join your own server, you need to add it in Doomseeker as a Custom Server.
Open Preferences, go to Custom Servers, select Zandronum and make a new entry. Address 127.0.0.1, port is the one you specified.

Preferences? Do you mean Options? I've gone to Options, Configure, and Custom Servers. Zandronum was pre-selected for me, so I typed my name in Host, clicked Apply, and then clicked OK. Is this what you mean or am I missing something? I apologize if so, I just don't see preferences anywhere. I've tried doing this before and after starting the server.
