Im get banned today in grandvoid dynamite deathmatch for cheating, ban evasion but im wasnt cheating and im not cheating in doom. Here is the information: 109.241.229.65<06/03/2015 16:41>:<db>polak:Cheating, ban evasion, Please unban me, im not a cheater i was playing normally.

I heard you did confess on cheating at GVH earlier. This should be enough evidence for you, I guess?

I was playing dynamite DM that day, and I did not notice this guy being any special, taken he is the same polak guy as I was on server with. I dare day he didn't cheat there, but I can not guarantee for other times, as I only played with him there.

You are not being very clear IBM, a record to prove which side of this? I personally have no demo, it wasn't exactly that I expected this guy to be accused of cheating after I won one of the rounds :\

well, Idk, people use to ask for demos, to prove he was not hacking, maybe, on the demo could show him shooting at walls and doing a really good aim :p

having evidence of him hacking is also true, from experience, we (I use to be a server moderator in killing floor for the BWH group, owning a small minecraft server in CentOS and a Killing floor server, I apologize if my <we> is confusing =p) never ban unless we got clear screenshot/vid (or in this case, a demo work as well) unless it was really oblivious.

That's probably why he's banned, right? The problem here is whether or not he was actually cheating. Considering there's a gigantic idiot that's an admin on GV ZDoom Wars servers, it's not unlikely that some other bad admin banned him without evidence of cheating

I once saw a case where the ip that was ban was dynamic, another user grab that ip a few hour later and got wrongfully banned =/. I have a preference to wait for evidence before making a action. Sadly, is also possible for him the be the actual culprit =/ I just wish IPv6 was fully implanted (every isp or almost using it) and make them static for every customer...(wont stop the one using proxy of course, but proxy can be slow and laggy, the fear of getting his static ip permaban is another tool a admin can use)

Okay, some things I'd like to point out

A) Putting your IP on a public forum was a really bad and dumb decision, please never do that again, infact take it off and instead pm it to an admin for GV instead of showing it off to a bunch of random players.

B) Has anyone even reviewed a proper demo for this guy, I can go around all day long saying I was hacking my ass off, doesn't quite prove anything except maybe he likes to be an asshole.

C) It seems to me you're only banned on GV, stop treating it like the end of the world and play on another server, how hard is this for you

Actually it's master-wide now. Just the public list isn't showing new entries for some strange reason.

I assume since he was masterbanned there's actual proof of him cheating... right? And not just the word from a GV admin (regardless of who they are)
