I'm having trouble putting on Mutator v19

I just downloaded the patches for brutal doom, I use zandronum, I don't know where to put the files, I got brutal doom the work but I can't figure out how to put any other mods to it. I put brutal doom into the skins folder and it worked, but the other files don't seem to work that way, what am I doing wrong?

Stop doing this.

No offense, it's just that you're the millionth person to put BD in their Skins folder and then post here because they broke Zandronum and can't play anything else.

Mods go in the Zandronum folder. Use ZDL or IDE/DoomSeeker to launch singleplayer games.

First of all, WHY DO YOU PEOPLE DO THIS? You don't put it in there! Jees laweez. And second, skins only works for one mod and you have to play it single player. (aka the goofiest way besides simply dragging it to the zandronum executable or use a server browser's single player launcher!) Why do these people make these threads with "brutal doom problems"? It's like trying to teach children to drink milk. Too easy, how can you screw it up?

Yeah I went a little heavy there, sorry 'bout that. Still it's really piling up with these brutal doom complaints...

IDK all this is like Japanese to me, you would have to be here to show me that, is there a website that shows how to do that?

I don't see how. Zandronum comes with Doomseeker, a server browser. And it has a single player function. Simple enough, order the wads in the supposed order.

I just want to get the smooth graphics onto my brutal doom, I play doom with GZDoom and the graphics are smooth, but when I play brutal doom from zan... they suck.

So now it's a complaint about Zandronum rather than an issue you could get help with?

options->display mode->opengl->texture->texture filter mode

I went to those options and changed everything I could, but nothing seems to do anything, aren't the smoothed graphics on the update?

The help I need is to smooth out the graphics for Brutal Doom. If you can't explain this to me then you are in the wrong area.

It's like we've been through this at least a dozen times before...

1. Shut the hell up. As pointed out, you are an idiot grasping at straws due to the fact,
2. That you're likely still using the SOFTWARE RENDERER in Zandro. You can switch to the OpenGL renderer ingame as such:
Menu->Options->Set Video Mode->Renderer: OpenGL
Changing the renderer used requires a restart of the game.

The skins folder is only for stuff which doesn't include any protected lumps (DECORATE, ACS, GLDEFS, etc.). As a general rule of thumb, if the file you have alters game behavior, then it isn't meant to go in the skins folder.

1 - Move brutal19.pk3 out of the skins folder to any other place, but never put anything there.

2 - If you wish to play it in single-player, drag and drop brutal19.pk3 on Zandronum.exe.

3 - Zandronum's default configuration doesn't have smooth graphics turned on by default. Anyway, consider following what Tux said and set textures to trilinear and hq4x scaling (I don't remember the names of every option right now).
