Doomseeker not finding wads (legit source)

Right, so I'm having trouble with Doomseeker finding my wad files. Even though I tell Doomseeker exactly where to find the files, it's not getting anything. All the wads are showing up as "MISSING"

So yeah I could use a little help in getting Doomseeker to reckognize where I put all my .wad and .pk3 files

The facts:

1. This is a new computer I'm using.

2. I own legal copies of Doom, Doom2, TNT, Plutonia, etc.

3. I have almost 8 GB of previously downloaded .wad files all stuffed into one folder that I transferred over from my old hard drive. I would prefer NOT to have to re-download those again if possible. Pretty much any decent wad from the last 10 years plus and a lot of the popular current multiplayer levels/mods are in that folder.

So any help on this would definitely be appreciated, thanks.

*cough*get IDE*cough*

Well, seriously, doomseeker doesn't really check if your files are legit or not, nor won't delete your 8GB of files... You say you added files to list, can you post screenie how does it look like? If you did it right and it doesn't work it must be some kind of bug.
What system are you using? I never had a problem like this on Windows, had on Linux but from my fault, don't remember what was that though...
Spoiler: Screenie (Open)

Ah, also, make sure you have folder where wadseeker downloads files also added there.

Make sure you setup paths to your wads in Options -> Configure -> File paths. You can also specify where downloaded wads will be placed under Wadseeker -> General.

In each original game there is a file called its name.wad, copy those to a director where all your other wads are in -Wads are independent in this check there is NO reason to put them in seperate places except maybe easier navigation-..

Offtopic : Internet doom explorer for me over doomseeker.. I just hate its layout -I still use its IRC from time to time lol-

(sorry for offtopic)
For me it's a possibility to filter servers... (I do not mean seeking by gametype/wad option, but rather filtering things OUT). So I can see right away if there's a game that interests me, and I am not bother by "People Play Mods I Do Not Like And I Feel Like This Place Is Not For Me Anymore" syndrome that much.
Also ZRC is much more convenient of a IRC client... It's full-featured (only besides DCC) while still being easy for newbs.
DoomSeeker's biggest good side is IMHO plugin-styled system of adding source ports, allowing Chocolate Doom etc.

When I change the layout by mistake its a bit annoying to return it to the original state, And things are a bit too blocky -IDE show player icons and customizable symbols for ping etc-..

Doomseeker could benefit from things like displaying the wad part of a server with a red X to its side to identify missing wads instantly, Move the irc tab to the top -Why is it in bottom of screen anyway-.. make the buddy window offer suggestions as I write -what does advanced change btw-..

As I said its not bad and I use it from time to time, just prefer the more options IDE gives -Doomseeker wins with no contest in hosting a server part-

Could you give me an example of that?

You can change the players column display in configuration. You can have the program display blocks, marines or numbers. Personally, I prefer blocks because of their simplicity.

Good ideas.

TBH I don't remember either, which means that this element needs to be described better in the program. I think it enables regular expressions.

Actually, you can shift all main window tabs as you like. You can move them around or even detach them from the main window. You can also move around columns in server list.
