Zandronum

I tried to start a server with doomseeker, i forwarded my port to 10666 and turned off my firewalls and yet the server comes up as <NO RESPONSE>
The master server is set to master.zandronum.com:15300
I'm not sure how to create a server since i have never done so before.

Try adding 127.0.0.1:10666 to your favourites in DoomSeeker and see if you can join.

After that, try and see if someone else is able to join. They will need your IP address to do so, and you can easily get it from here: http://www.whatismyip.com/
It will show in green near the top.

The <NO RESPONSE> will usually only show to the hoster if they are using a NAT router weather the port is forwarded or not.

Also, it is not recommended that you turn off your firewall. It can create an easy way in for hackers and hacker wannabes. All you need is the forwarded port.

I have no idea what i am doing. i forward my port to 10666 and someone told me to forward it to 15300 so i did, and what is a NAT router?
That website told me my IP is 125.236.217.207.

Just wanting to create a simple server, not to sure how to.

Create the server as usual, and just try and get someone to connect to 125.236.217.207:10666
