Zandronum

I've been searching everywhere and I can't seem to find an answer. I'm looking to buy a new Macbook and I'd like to know what the minimum requirements are to run Zandronum with wads like Brutal Doom and so on.

Depends entirely on what maps and gameplay mods you're loading. Zandronum may have low system requirements for vanilla Doom 2, but the requirements raise dramatically as you load more complex WADs. I will say, though, that Zandronum's performance is almost entirely reliant on your CPU's speed (the amount of cores doesn't matter). CPU speeds of 3.0 GHz and above should run just about every popular mod on Zandronum at acceptable framerates.
