Zandronum

so im a newbie with zandronum and have not yet installed it, but i am usually on GZDoom. im ready to switch to zandronum as it seems more convenient, but i am wondering why you have to install zandronum to play doom?? gzdoom does not make you install anything?

You don't have to use the installer. There's a zip available, it's the "Archive (Core only)" link on the download page. It doesn't include Doomseeker though.
