So I finally decided to organize all of my wads and source ports in a neat directory, and changed the wadpaths and source port paths to reflect this. Now for some reason, IDE will make me choose an iwad in Zandronum upon trying to connect to a server, or trying to launch singleplayer (launching SP in IDE is the same as using -warp). And when it Zandronum load after trying to connect, it will say I am using the wrong wads, dispite me downloading them before I connect. Deleted the IDE and Zandronum .ini, edited my zandronum.ini to point it to the iwad path, still the same issue. Even happens with Skulltag. Anyone might know what's causing me this headache? Also clicking on regular doom.wad servers loads doom2.wad.
Nevermind. Fucking spaces in directory paths.

RE: IDE failing to load any wads after directory change
Maybe try reinstalling IDE. I know in the past I've had some "not the same wad" problems for no apparent reason. I take it you have the latest zandronum.

I would really recommend not doing your "Edit:"-s like that, because it looks exactly like a signature does.Quote wrote:

Instead - doing something cliche like:
Would be much clearer.Quote wrote:Edit: Nevermind, fucking spaces in directory paths.
RE: IDE failing to load any wads after directory change
Blame auto-merge. Anyways I resolved the problem by taking out the space in the directory. Guess IDE cannot into directories with spaces.

As a rule of thumb, directories with spaces in the name are always a bad idea.Quote wrote: Blame auto-merge. Anyways I resolved the problem by taking out the space in the directory. Guess IDE cannot into directories with spaces.
