Zandronum 3.2.1 lagging a LOT on Hardware mode.

Hello, i got Zandronum 3.2 and i was enjoying my time with it going on Doomseeker BYOC servers, and i wanted to join one of my favorite servers, but it told me i needed Zandronum 3.2.1. So i downloaded it, and now, for whatever reason, it lags a LOT when i try to play on OpenGL. Software works fine. I don't know what the issue is. My PC specs are: 4 GB of RAM, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz processor and 64 bits system (?) if that's any help. I use Windows 10 too.
