hello, i am a newbie installing zandronum and trying to make it work. I want to play sigil wad with my friend over lan and i set up the server on UV difficulty. However, our game on ultra violence seems to be harder compared to singleplayer, there are more enemies for some reason (for example on first level; 38 on SP/ 58 on co-op). I want to disable this kind of scaling but i couldn't find the reason. When i drag and drop the wad over zandronum exe to play single player it works normally, when i set up a server on doomseeker, that's when it changes the enemy count to a different number than normal ultra violence.

Type "SV_Coop_SPActorSpawn 1" from your server console.

This will spawn the map items as if you were playing a singleplayer game, even in coop. This is because in a Doom map editor, mappers can check a checkbox on a monster or weapon that says "Multiplayer only" to create a sightly different gameplay experience between singleplayer and multiplayer. Most maps don't tend to use this, but obviously Romero has serious attention to detail, since he's technically been mapping longer than anyone. :razz:
