SNS poll #2 (June)

SNS team presents you the second instance of bimonthly Saturday Night Survival poll. Until the 15th or so you will be able to post your suggestions for the poll. Please keep in mind, that map packs, hosted in SNS, must be able to accommodate at least 16 players and provide at least and hour and a half of non-repetitive action. Suggesting mixes of map packs and mods with interesting settings is allowed and encouraged.

That's it, now post those suggestions!

I'd suggest ALT.wad! It's a newly released Megawad with some really sick maps. The last maps are kind of bad but well worth going through.

Also guys, I'd like to ask everyone to provide links to the wads you suggest (unless they are super popular) so we don't have to PM each of you afterwards.

My suggestion is Doom32, maybe with a zombie mod, so that it won't seem to easy.

I think Zomb-8 for SNS is pretty reasonable, maybe people will be able complete it. It's pure NS wad, from what i know it's l4d analog. http://speedy.sh/twaMv/Zomb-8Release2.pk3
As for OS i suggest http://nukelol.com/files/wads/dest_unknown_final.wad with easy settings.

Remember that one survival mod called PLAGUE that used to be hosted with HR2? Yeah, do plague with hr2. 1 Life no damage factor crap

I loved that mod, it pretty popular until it was over-shadowed by hard-doom

Yep on that one Canadian server :) It was very good, but from a previous SNS session HR2 doesn't work well with a high density of players.

Sunder won't function correctly in coop unless the maps are edited to prevent being locked out in certain areas, and only users with high end machines will be able to play.

Recently czech doom players community finished the Zones of Fear wad.
(But it has only 4 players support, so it would need fix I guess.)

This won't work. A health pool is a cool idea. I loved it in DOOM 3 opencoop. But shared ammo? With a lot of players?
This is more of a mod to play with a couple of friends on a PW'ed server. Fun, but not fit for a mass player coop game like SNS.
