FNF #178: 32in24-12 Overload and Sabbat Martyr Team Deathmatch

You should definitely come check out EuroFNF this week, because it's OVERLOAD! Play on a CTF map, but instead of capturing a flag, your team must destroy the core in the enemies' base while protecting your own! American FNF is good old Team Deathmatch on Sabbat Martyr, so come join the fragging!

Played Euro, because I'm a big fan of the mode :biggrin:

There were some maps in there that were very bad with this mod, as they were far too rushable. A problem (in general) with using CTF maps is that the flag thing is always some distance from a wall, meaning that enemies can hide behind and run around the cores. It's much better on maps that have the flag/core located in an alcove.

Also, I don't know if the mod is still being worked on, but something that would improve it - which was requested for my own version was an "Under Attack!" message, so it becomes plain when you're needed back at base :wink:

It worked a lot better with IDL2013 really, perhaps we should do a testing run of various wads to see what works best with it.

If anyone's planning on tweaking the gamemode, please fix the red pixels on the blue core already :P
