FNF #175: Lazarus Deathmatch and PROCTF

This Friday Night Fragfest will stop at nothing to bring you the hardest and most intense battleground for bfg balls and rocket halls that is LAZARUS DEATHMATCH on European FNF. But don't stop yet because following up will be the big, beautiful, yet barbarous battlegrounds of PROCTF on American FNF where runners will be blasted and defenders bombarded to no end. Frag to your heart's desire in both FNF's and you will be ready to call yourself a "pro" once you make it to the end.

Also the server will be running Zandronum 1.0. This will be the last fnf running that version. You can download it here.

Why did you use 1.0? Is there anything wrong with 1.1.1 or did you just think it was too new for everybody to upgrade to?

1.1.1 was released just 15 hours before FNF began. From previous experience, that's way too short window for most people to update their games and we didn't want to risk having shortage of players, esp. on Euro FNF which tends to become a ghost town easily. Even now, after 3 days, there are still remnants of lazy-to-update people playing 1.0.

EuroFNF was a success however.
