FNF #253 Rage Ctf and MSPD Deathmatch!

Hope you are prepared for an intense Friday, as the rampaging in Rage Ctf will leave you filled with frustration as flags are fearlessly stolen and bodies pile up by the plenty, and if such a bloodbath doesn't satisfy, prepare to dip into a different reality as your skin turns a single shade and your enemies explode into comical chunks in MSPD Deathmatch.

Random question appearing out of the blue, but why is One Flag CTF never played? Even back in Skulltag speaking from 2005 onwards, it is literally the only game mode from what I recall which has never had a single public server or has been played at all which makes it the undisputed champion of the least popular gamemode of all time :P

Granted I don't expect it to be chosen for clan wars given CTF is the fabled standard and it is of course entirely dependent on whether the chosen wad includes a White Flag marker but it adds an interesting variation in an already popular game mode and could spices things up for public events. Rather then having to take the opposing team's flag and return it to your own, instead combatants engage in a power struggle for a lone White Flag appearing in the center of the map and have to dive into the enemy's base to score.

I think it would add a unique dimension of strategy, given not only is dominance of the center of a map important but it would also make scoring daring and more team reliant seeing as you have to charge headlong into enemy fray rather then make a daring escape.

Just a thought.

1-flag ctf is probably the least played gamemode in zandronum and yes we almost never run it. I'm personally not even sure if it's any good, but if you get some public support for it perhaps we may try it.
