I may have to attend the American one. I've only checked some of the maps for it not played it against others so this should be fun.

Possession doesn't seem to be that popular of a mode. There's not that many wads that work well with it either.
As for Deathball, some maps felt quite bad, like the Exophase edit, where the flagroom was now mid.

Nothing wrong with that, IMHO. It's just a little confusing the first few games if you've played a lot of ZDCTF. The backwards-facing spawns turned out to be a problem for me though.
