Server
The games will happen in Funcrusher+ (New Jersey) servers hosted exclusively for the event. They may also be used for practising purposes.

Format
The tournament will follow a double-elimination bracket, where the top placing teams from each group move on to a single-elimination bracket, its matches played out over the course of the latter two weeks.

The map list is comprised of 10 maps: 5 starter maps and 5 counterpick maps, all from the IDL201X wad.

Games

• Every match, group or bracket stage, will be scheduled by me to an appropriate time on its respective week based on the teams' availabilities;
• The matches are played on a 3v3 format, and each round has a duration of 10 minutes and a score limit of 5 flags;
• Each match follows a best of 5 system;
• For the 1st round in a match, the designated blue team must ban one of the five starter maps. Afterwards, the red team must ban two other maps, and blue team then bans a fourth map. The remaining starter map is then played out;
• For the 2nd round onwards, the loser of the previous round picks any of the maps (starters or counterpicks) that haven't been played yet. If the previous round ended in a tie, then the current round is played in the previous map again;
• A team is victorious once they win 3 rounds in the bracket stage, or if they have more wins than their opponent after 5 rounds. If there is still no clear winner, subsequent rounds will be played until one of the teams wins.

Rules

• Every participating player is recommended to upload demos from their games until their next week's games. If nobody from their respective teams uploads a demo from their match, they will be penalised with a one-round power play.
• Trading players is not allowed.
• Teams are allowed to field any of their players for each game, but failing to field 3 players at the scheduled times for their games will result in a forfeit.

If you don't have a team, you can't enter this tournament! I'm not automatically grouping a bunch of free agents together either. However, there is nothing stopping you from self-advertising in this thread for team captains to find potential teammates. In fact, I encourage it! Updated the OP to reflect this.
