ZDoomWars 1v1 Tourney!
CLICK HERE FOR BRACKETS!!!Hello guys. Since ZDW become a little bit inactive after razgriz tlms tourney is over, i want to bring some activity back and want to introduse 1v1 tourney! This tourney welcomes players with any skill level because if there will be alot of new players i'll make special bracket for them so they wont be just rekted by pros! Welcome!
Rules!
So this tourney will have 2 stages. 1 Stage - Groups!
All players will be randomly seeded in groups (every group will have 4 players).
So each player will have to play bo1 match with all players in his group. Every player will gather points for games.
3 - for the clear win
2 - Win by opponent lagout
1 - for lose
After all matches the 2 best players of each group will be promoted to 2nd stage of the tourney. If there will be 2 players with equal points, promoted will be the one who won the game in rounds.
In newbie (hurt me plenty) tier system is same.
2 Stage - Brackets!
After group stage end, the best players will be randomly seeded in single elemination bracket. All games in this are bo3. The final game will be bo5. So theres nothing special. Match for the 3rd place will be included.
About maps
There will be only official zdoomwars mappack, no metal maps allowed.
All monsters and traps on maps will be turned off!
Spoiler: Maplist: (Open)In group stage try to decide the map that will be good for both.
In bracket stage the 1st map will be random, loser picks 2, and whatever player didnt pick picks 3rd.
About classes
In group stage everyone can pick any class.
In bracket stage you are also can pick any class, but u cant pick the same class 2 times. Like if u win or lose the 1-st game you cant pick the same class in second and third.
Screenshots and demos
Screenshots are necessary to prove u win or lose.
Demos are not necessary, but if u will have a demo i will record this to youtube (pov the winner :) )
How many players will be on tourney
The min players is 4. Max is 16.
How to contact each other!
Ye, i make a big headline for that, because alot of players usually dont care about it and gettin DQ'ed. 1)First of all try to idle on #zdoomwars channel whenever u are online!!!!!!!!
2)Leave a contacts when u are registering!!!! Like steam, skype, anything else. And if u cant find ur opponent on irc try to add him on other messengers!!!!!
3)If u cant contact ur opponent tell it to me, i'll try to organize the match. If i wont be able to do this i will DQ the player that ignore anything.
4)Remember that this tourney is firsly for fun and some activity in community. Its not about prove to someone that he's best. Our community are small so try to be friendly to each other. I'll make my maximum to do this tourney good, but u need to have a good behaviour too. If there will be some rude messages to opponents after win, shittalkin while game and other things like that do screenshots and the rude player will be DQ'ed from tourney.
5)Don't be afraid to play if u think that u'll lose. Everyone have bad days or just not good on this game. The main thing is havin fun! And remember sometimes you win, sometimes you lose!

Server and stuff!
There's Special BE server for tourney games. Use this server for all games that u'll play for tourney.BE - 192.99.6.150:15158
Server use special config that disallows spying (for balance reasons) and doesnt allow you to suicide. Also almost all votes was disabled (You can only vote for map and forcespec).
All neutral monsters and traps on maps was also disabled!

The version of zdw will be 3.0l (last release)
The version of mappack will be 1.7c
Brackets will be maked by Challonge.
