I was actually talking with artega when this idea came into my head. What if there was a loan system introduced?
Let me explain, this is pretty much like football, you would loan a player out to gain experience and after a certain amount of time they would come back. THe way it would work is you could ask the leader of a clan if they can take a certain member for a while (this could also help get smaller clans into action) or you can offer a player there. Obviously the player would need to be fine with it but i think with this said player could gain some good scrimming experience while staying with their parent clan

Id like some opinions on this. See what you guys think (Im not one of those guys that jumps down the throat of someone that gives negative criticism btw). You're also free to ask any questions about this as well

This has been done before. It's called "aliasing".

I think it's a good idea and could help lesser skilled clans to survive.

The core of the idea actually pretty neat.

But I agree with what both BlueWiz and Ænima said - It won't work and it'll lead into probably even "advanced" aliasing.

It's a nice idea, but if you scrim with a 'loaned' player, and you win ... I can 100% garuntee you that the opposing team will rage / use it as an excuse to why you won. Past aliasing players, such as when Jenova was aliasing as <PRO>Mauler caused a huge shitstorm at the time, and I fear it could be the same again.

One thing that could give players a chance to play is maybe forming a new clan, or join existing clans that don't have as many players. PRO has about 20 memebers at a guess, EL and VGL have a good majority too, maybe if some of these players even up other clans then more people / clans will get to play instead of spectating.

I can understand the main issue here is that people will alias into clans anyway. For me this would be mainly used for new competitive players or players that are somewhat rusty (or for players that want to help out certain clans)

What you are proposing sounds more like an "internship", of sorts. Like, having a newbie competitive player be a part of a different active clan every month so that he gets a taste for what competitive play is like.

First time reading this forum in ages. This about recent events yeah?

The plan is to have an agreement where a person who isnt having much first team playing in the clan he is currently in can be put into a lower tier clan for a period of time to scrim and get better, thats the idea.
