It's ok to suck mapping but if you want people to play your maps you have to actually know how to map well. It could've been better if you asked for opinions on how to make a map, get experience, playtest your map, rework the map until people say it's good enough and then release it, instead of announcing a project with no experience in mapping whatsoever.

These people are telling you all these things out of experience but you seem to ignore their recommendations by continuing doing what you want, even if you think you are doing the right thing guess what: you are not. Take a break, read and re-read this thread several times until you get what the people is trying to say to you.

But IMVHO, I think you will not.

FYI, Sir Metalguy; We're trying to help you out. Some may sound more convincing than others or sound rude, but if this project keeps going in its current direction: It's not going to end well... at all.

I don't mind making some exemplary maps for you so that the message does get clear to you. And perhaps some minor tutoring on how to change the interpics and the likes!

I was actually considering making a map for this out of sheer pity, but then I saw your textures are just being used from skulltag data which is a big no no for me. I'm salty. Kind of wish there was no skulltag now as all the weapons (while a good hallmark) are incredibly outdated and texture data is a mass compilation of relative patches and png's most of which will not be used.

Take some consideration to the criticism and feedback of others metalguy213, for if you don't and continue to pretend you didn't read it or comprehend it you'll end up in the same place as alienoverlord(siferah) who consistently receives full negative attention for being absolutely stubborn.
