Zandronum

I originally posted about my first mod for Zandronum on the Doomworld forums, but, being such fags they are, the immediately assumed it was a Terry wad. Well, no it's not. And I vowed never to go back to their forums ever again. All further posts by me will be on either the Zandronum forums or the NewDoom forums.

I made a WAD for Zandronum\ZDoom called HATTW.wad, it's targeted towards the people who are new to Zandronum and it's mod support, who don't know about the infamous mapper Terry.

To Marcaek, who are you? And YES, I WAS Flame Skull on that shit for brains run forum site. This is what I hate about doomers on that site and many more, when they see a wad on the forums that has the sheer mention of Terry's name. They instantly think it's a terry trap. Bloodshedder can take his forum and shove it up his ass.

To Krispy, gay enough to see something like my wad and instantly think, "Hyuk, hyuk, it's another terry wad!", when in reality, it's not. I've explained this countless times, that this wad is an explanation as to what a terry trap is for those who are new to Doom. So what do they do about it, they relocate it to the so-called "POST HELL", or as I like to call it, "THE PLACE WHERE WE PUT SHIT WE JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS ON". Freedom of speech, bitches.

Well, I'm a map designer, and I help organize friday night fragfest along with the rest of the team, other than that I'm a long-time member of the Skulltag(and general Doom) community. Not that it matters!

The reason your thread got helled is because honestly, there's not real purpose to designing a demo terrywad for the sole reason of "educating" newer players. Terry has enough of a reputation that people are advised to steer clear of his shitty jokewads on a regular basis (without a walkthrough), and he doesn't need the attention that this will generate.

Besides that, I'm someone who finds great amusement in your toughguy act, keep it up!

Why? Because this doesn't help your case by a single ounce. The real reason why your post went to post hell (and possibly why this thread will hit the trash can) is because it's ultimately unneeded. If you're a newbie to the doom community and don't know what terry wads are, they can just ask or do some research on them. They don't need this wad that, in reality, just plain sucks.

Only applies to public services, and even then with some reservation; you can't go around yelling about how you're going to overthrow the government (that's not peaceful organization at all). And this, as well as Doomworld, is a private forum, so it doesn't apply.

Sharing wads with the community isnt a bad thing. No really, it isn't. However, when doing so you need to think of a few things. Is it a good idea? Is the wad going to receive criticism and not get flammed? Those are the kinds of questions you should be asking yourself. But clearly, you answered them wrong, which is why you've created a mess of a thread. Next time when you want to share a wad with the community, make sure its a good idea, and not this fat lard of a wad you've released into the public.
