Not liking this wad here, Even though I know what you were trying to do.

I reckon you could come up with something better then what you produced right now if your taking the piss out of a map maker :P

Why? Because this doesn't help your case by a single ounce. The real reason why your post went to post hell (and possibly why this thread will hit the trash can) is because it's ultimately unneeded. If you're a newbie to the doom community and don't know what terry wads are, they can just ask or do some research on them. They don't need this wad that, in reality, just plain sucks.

That still doesn't mean it needs to be canned. this WAD was two and a half months of planning, trial, and error, and for what? To be spat at and mocked. Just sad.

I have the perfect analogy for Terrywads that I think you can understand Mr HellBlade64...

You've heard of the IdGames archives? It's a collection of Doom files made by people around the world, from megawads to texture packs. Imagine it as an art gallery of sorts, with different work for show: some of it is better than others, but there's a good variety to see. Now, imagine that in the middle of the night some pranksters sneak in a picture of Goatse and hang it up in the gallery: in this case, Goatse is a Terrywad(in case you're wondering, Goatse is a shock site: try not to visit it). Some people will be offended, but there's a few that can appreciate the humour in the situation. Fastforward a few years and the art gallery is drowning in pictures of Goatse: these pranksters have been steadily shipping in these pictures farily regularly. No one thinks it's funny anymore except the pranksters and the slightest mention of Goatse results in a fair bit of violence.

Now do you see what I'm getting at? There's been a steady stream of Terrywads and wads that wish they were Terrywads for some time now, and while it might have been amusing to start with, now it just makes people want to rip limbs off the culprits. We don't want to see hide nor hair of Terrywads anymore, and considering the sheer volume of them clogging up the archives you can see why. For everyone's sake I'd recommend you distance youself from them and try focus on something else.

This is a bad map, newer mappers wouldn't even know that a map34 exists, let alone learn how to script.

I see no appeal or attempt to teach new players how to learn to map like terry, nor is there any script tutorial that helps me learn how to map like him.

False advertising, money back please.

On a serious note this is bad and you should feel bad with it. I'll abyss this after the other guys have their fun lashing out at you.

The music was cool, I actually liked this until the Terry part. Cut him out completely, and you've got a promising start for a map.

In a way, then, I think you should continue to update this wad. Without Terry.
