Good stuff in that video:

And...

Because teleporter node is broken and no one bothered to place insta-kill zones out of bounds. GGs.

The reason is because the average AOW player is not very good, or very bright, and quite a number of bugs, exploits and design flaws (a lot) apparently went unnoticed for several years or their severity wasn't entirely fleshed out. Creative players and good players will more likely highlight issues much better than your typical run and gun players ever will .

Within my first month of playing, I already knew the teleporter had a tendency to send you outside the map if it was too close to a wall and I figured it was only a matter of time before someone took it to the next level. Honestly, I'm just surprised it took this long for something like this to happen. In the end, just blame Demy for ruining the mod and deleting acs files from the pk3 (what I have been told) which prevents 2.1 from compiling. Blame drd for dumb things like no C4 for 5 minutes but you can buy and send several Orcas into an Obelisk and destroy it within a minute...

That sounds about right considering the amount of bitching that goes on in the servers. About every week or so on the TS, a series of bugs/glitches would be found within the game. These bugs weren't even very difficult to find, but it really calls into question how thoroughly tested the game was.

I'm a bit surprised myself. I would have thought something like this would have come up in testing sessions (as well as the numerous other glitches/balance issues/problems in the game), but I would guess that testing was either minimal after a certain point or no one ever thought of trying to break the game.

You're either on A3's side, or... hell, everyone's against Prison Numbers, so they must be with A3.

[Some A3 bashing goes here, A3 conspiracies, etc.]
