Bug: Server displaying all pings as 0?

Sorry if there's already a topic about this, but for some reason everyone who joins my server has a displayed ping of 0.
Is there anything I can do to fix this? Is it perhaps a dmflag I've accidentally enabled?

I'd be surprised to see a dmflag that does "Oh you are the server now"...

It's probably a bug. Does everyone see zero pings or just you?

Everyone who joins the server sees the ping as zero. I've seen this happen on other servers as well, but I'm just wondering if it's a known bug and if there's a known fix? It's really strange.

Bumping because holy crap there has to be some fix for this. Just checked the Oda and ZD servers on my cluster, ping is displaying fine in them. Restarting the servers didn't do the trick unfortunately

This happened to my cluster as well. Rebooting all the servers fixed it for me, I'd make a ticket on the tracker but I have no clue how it happens.

Thanks for the input Cata, I will try another restart. As you pointed out, I'm not sure what even causes it, making it a very difficult bug to properly report.

having hosted numerous servers myself and through BE / TSPG, it seems like servers that have a very long uptime (months) may at some point stop updating ping information for clients. i'm not sure the exact cause of this, just that in my experience it happens only on the servers that have been up for a long time.

Dumb question but are you sure you restarted correctly? This is the "30 day bug" which happens when servers run for a long time (around 30 days). Nobody knows the cause and it's been an issue for years now iirc.

Huh, what a strange bug. I haven't noticed this zero ping issue on my servers; are you guys running a 64 bit build?

EDIT: Quake 3 might have had a similar "24 day bug" problem, I think Carmack just restarted the server when it happened though.
