The website best-ever was taken down, but there is an alternative, and its exactly like best ever. (https://allfearthesentinel.net/) The channel name is #tspg-painkiller, and you'll have to re-register. And everything else is pretty much the same. Now get back there and start hosting!

I encourage anyone who wants to host their own BE to do it. Setting it up is rather simple, although the instructions can be confusing if you are a first time server admin. I posted this on the Megaman forums but it's just as valid here. We made this open source for a reason. https://github.com/IvanTopolcic/BestBot

If you need help setting it up, please message me on IRC or the forums and I'd be glad to help you. We don't only need 1 server cluster to avoid stupid situations like the BE drama in the future.

We used http://www.soyoustart.ca, which ran about $45 USD and was able to host around 200 servers and has pushed 10s of terabytes of traffic per month (thanks, hdoom!).
