Zandronum

ok, So I'm trying to play Project Brutality, but it keeps crashing when I try to run the pack using Zandranum. I looked over the instructions again and it says this Link to image (Because the image kept coming up broken when i tried to use you [IMG] tags)

Knote how it says twice that I need Zandronum 3.0 Alpha...

I have been searching all over this place and Google, but all I can find is "The latest Version 2.1.2-win", hell, the link thats on that page took me to a place where I downloaded the TOO old version.
(I won't even ask why it would link me to a version that the person that set up the link said wont work)


Where is Zandronum 3.0?


(I'm sorry if this post comes off as standoffish, but I really hate when dumb stuff like this happens. I just want to put the mods I want into Doom, and be able to get past this technical stuff and play the game. XD)

3.0 isn't advertised as the latest official version because it is still a beta, which means it is constantly updated and most people don't like having to download a new update every few days. Regardless if you had bothered to simply scroll down all your problems would have been solved and you wouldn't be here acting like an asshole in response to having your feelings hurt.

First of all, hello and welcome to Zandronum.

Second, the only reason 2.1.2 is the latest version at the moment is because it's the latest official release, 3.0 is still in alpha so that's technically not a lie. If you poke around the News section, you'll find the current alpha build's thread, with a download.

Of course brutal doom (almost) issue. Zandronum 3.0 is still in alpha/in testing AKA still not released AKA not the latest official version. The developers only display the latest stable version of the source port. You could also see, right in the news RIGHT BELOW THAT BUTTON, "Zandronum 3.0 alpha etc etc."
