Please. You're making it seem like it's a big deal. You can always turn taunts back on when the spamfest is gone. It's more specific than disabling taunts altogether with cl_taunts 1, but honestly taunt spamming doesn't bother me anymore. Only if it's the Cirno skin from vrskins or the Roadrunner from RBCskins.

It is a system that is easily spammable (to some extent), yet you say the people who spam it are the problem. It has never been considered significant enough of an exploit (if you'd even call it that) for devs to change up the way it works, because the problem is commonly solved by disabling the taunt system, which makes it the very definition of a solution, contrary to what you said. Don't be trying to fault players for something you can easily avoid with a single command.
