How do you fix the missing textures in Zandronum online?

Getting lots of solid black and checkered textures that cover doors and switches making it incredibly annoying to progress. How does one fix this problem? Its in every single wad I try to play on Zan :(.

Could you give us an example of a wad and perhaps provide screenshots?
You haven't given us much to go on.
Do you create the server yourself or do you join an existing one?
Also, make sure you have a proper DOOM/DOOM2 IWAD.
