Can someone who is able to join GvH Multiverse please host your files (pk3s) on mediafire and give me the links or tell me where you downloaded them? It just keeps telling me to use the exact same wads as the server even though I just downloaded them with doomseeker which I think is simply downloading outdated wads.

Post a screenie of the error message. It shows what the checksum of each wad is supposed to be vs yours. You can usually see which doesn't match that way.

Also take Brutal Doom out of your skins folder.

Try re-downloading the files.

Check the wadlist of the server, remove those files and re-download 'em. That's 100% certainty that you're going to have the correct files.


If there's another error, then there might be something loading along in your skins folder that's causing the error.

There's nothing in my skins folder except for about.txt.

This shouldn't be a worry anymore, considering that all of my files got updated. :)

Another thing to add: When I fail to join but press Esc and make a new game, the only classes usable are the Marine (which isn't the GvH marine, just the Doom 2 marine) and the Undeath. I also tried loading some gvh maps but none worked.

From the screenshot, I can see that every pk3 except the undeath one are either corrupted or out of date. Delete and redownload all of them as Hek said before. I'm not sure how almost every pk3 could be corrupted at once though.

Since you're using Doomseeker, it tends to throw downloaded files into appdata, so you can try deleting your wads if you're not aware they're hiding there.
