Any non-SR50 users out there?

I've never liked the whole SR50 and what not. I'm just wondering if there are others who are the same? Or have we reach where everyone has to use it to be good at it?

If you want to be good, look at AVC aka Woodpecker, he's just too good at O.

Never used it. Didn't had a reason to.

I prefer SR40, don't want to bother with binds/wacky controlling just to get some extra boost.

I use it often to make jumps easier or to just make a rush but I can't aim while using so I use SR40 to aim, and that is most of the times.
Hopefully I have the option for use both, and it's pretty useful if you don't want to bother binding it there are good veteran players that don't use it so it doesn't really matter if you have it or not. Just an extra boost that sometimes helps a lot too.

The only time I ever use sr50 is on map 26 [window jump], otherwise I'm running just fine with sr40.

I use it frequently. It's not hard to setup and if you're like me and dislike the controls a good binding for it requires, you'll have simple config files you can execute whenever you need to change settings. For instance, I have a ctf.cfg file that I run whenever I join a CTF game. This sets up SR50 binds, disables music, and changes my crosshair colors and such.

SR40 all the way. The whole SR50 premise doesn't sound as...usable to me.

I don't use SR50 just because I haven't set it up (And I always forget how =P).
Maybe I should configure it because I like speed.

I use it pretty regularly. mainly when im juking back and forth. specially in ctf. comes in handy when you have another sr50 user doing offence.

AVC aka Woopecker has been training alot with me to help him master my current config on the sr50. 1 button auto :)

I never use SR50 either, I'm more than comfortable with plain old SR40.

I use neither of the SR configurations. I just cannot get used to them. Especially having played with a mouse normally since Quake 1.

I tend to enjoy the game instead of stressing myself with some whacky hacky binds for the sake of making me look like a badass, so I have this inability to give a single fuck about SR50. SR40 suits me fine.

I thought I was the only one not using it.

I use SR50 to own everyone. Yes, that's how I roll. I don't even use a bind, screw that, old methods are the best.

This thread is awfully depressing and says a lot about the user base of this port.

For the most part, my SR50 is SR30 to a lot of other runners but I often use SR50 for straight lines. I use SR40 for more complicated movement.

SR50 isn't really that useful/ needed as much. It's there typically for making jumps that you normally couldn't with SR40 and getting around corners quicker. At least that's what I use it for.
