When that fucking guy (I don't care who the hell is) needed to speak about DOOM 4, those mother fuckers quited the transmission. Any coincidence? I don't think, I just think that ID Software wasn't needed to sell the company, even with a few employees, even with the death of some good mans from the company.
Why I'm so sure that ID Software sold the company? Because ID SOFTWARE DON'T DO A SHIT LIKE THAT! DOOM 4 was mentioned first time in 2007, we are almost in 2015. Any sign? No. Why ID would do a shit like this and make their fans run away?? It's illogical!

Because the REAL FPS GAMES was those:Duke Nukem,Quake,DOOM,Wolfenstein,Alien vs Predator. They are the REAL FPS GAMES not all "shit" games like Borderlands,Halo, Bioshock and others. Without those five OLD FPS GAMES THEY WEREN'T EXISTED NOW!
Halo is inspired from AvP, Borderlands is inspired from Duke Nukem and Quake (Not very much but it is) Bioshock from DOOM and Quake.
Now, why so many dumb people are more interested about FallOut than DOOM?

Quakecon gave people a shot to see Doom 4 preview and a lot of people said they liked what they saw, so not really sure if you followed its more recent news. Romero hasn't been in ID software for a long time lol. Do you mean carmack (Oh same boat)?

Alot of the new fps follow System Shock and half life instead of straight forward FPS like doom and quake. Doom just made fps main stream tier instead of invent it. (Older fps games exist, even if they are worse)

I don't think the reason they've been secretive about Doom 4 is because they don't plan on ever releasing it - if that was the case, they wouldn't have mentioned it at all. Announcing games, showing the relevant gameplay footage to their audience, and setting an approximate release date without ever planning to release the game is not something big companies do, or at least shouldn't be.
