Zandronum 2.0 Needs a trailer!

As Zandronum 2.0 is going to be a massive update to a more modern ZDoom base (GZDoom 1.5.0), I think it is time that Zandronum comes out with a new and first trailer that advertises these big changes, and along with it - improvements and additions that comes with Zandronum 2.0!

There is plenty of time to prepare - since Zandronum 2.0 is still in development - and to make the video professional to share to the world (youtube!). Feel free to use this thread for discussions, ideas, and notes about the trailer and even critique videos.

Oh man, making something to top the 97D trailer is hard. But for the love of god, don't make it as bad as this heaping pile of shit.

I can try my hand at making a trailer. I'm not very good, but people liked the Metroid and Samsara trailers.

What would you guys say are the biggest features to advertise/promote?

So is everyone making their own trailers? Or is this a compilation? Thread isn't very clear.

Preferred a nice compilation. I personally think - something adjacent to SkullTag's 97D trailer is superb for Zandronum 2.0.

Actually, I think I am wrong with this. What would you guys recommend on doing instead?

The problem with creating a compilation is that nobody has the same settings. Some people play in Software, some play in Hardware, some play with filters, others play without filters, some play with widescreen, others play standard resolution, some people cap FPS, others uncap FPS, etc, etc.

If a compilation is the way to go (I would doubt it) extra special emphasis on quality control would be required in order to make sure the video is smooth and seamless and not just jankingly jerking from one viewpoint to the other.

We could do what Zdaemon does and just submit demos to one person doing the trailer. Though I doubt people will be focused enough for this to work.

If we were to make compilations, this idea would be great! This alone, we can demonstrate the features and have gameplay footage from different players. But, we would just need someone (or a group) to manage the trailer development. Anyone up for this task?

Any multiplayer improvements worth showing (forcing enemy/team colors,zdjump physics,shared keys etc)

I don't think showing major features that were/are going to be added earlier would be a bad idea too (since Account System is going to be in 1.3 anyway). My ideas:
- 64 player support
- Database system
- Software 3D floors (+ them working in competitive modes)

I have been fairly busy with other things lately, but by chance, has there been any news or updates regarding organizing and making a new trailer for Zandronum 2.0?
