What maps out there, official and unofficial do you just plane love for no other reason than to just love it?
For me it has to be E3M3, E4M7 of Ultimate Doom, Map31, Map32 from Doom2, Map16 of Plutonia, and Map04 and Map23 of TNT.

As for unofficial map, I haven't found a map that I truly like.

all from knee-deep in dead, and map01 to map06 from doom 2

I'd have to think about it when it comes to PWADS, Memento Mori MAP31 is a definite contender though.

My all time fave wad has to be ZBlood. I also like the uni doom maps, zombie horde, batman doom, fragport. Obviously these are full wads but all the maps are good in them. There is one that I can't remember the name of, set in space, I think it was called Sapphire?

Doom 2 - MAP01, MAP08, MAP29

The inmost dens (because it's epic and has cool music), tricks and traps (because of cyberdemon room and some simple but bad ass traps) and map07 (because it's epic for DM).

TNT map21 (great variety).

e3m1, e2m8.

All sunder.wad levels (slaughterish pew pew pew).

Eternal Doom MAP28

A lot of them. Though off the top of my head, I like E3M1, when you first step into hell. I love MAP09 for it's awesome music, too.

Also the Unholy Cathedral level, as well. And E1M1, because it's etched into everyone's minds.

I'm sure there's more, both official and unofficial, but those came to mind first.

I just finished playing Deus Vult 2, I loved it... I always liked "License to spell doom" too

As for Doom and Doom 2 maps, it's gotta be MAP29, MAP16 and MAP03 from Doom 2, E1M1 and E1M8 from Doom 1 and finally E3M3, E3M4 and E1M5 from Chex Quest... I like them a lot
