I was curious about how certain gamemodes compare to each other in terms of popularity in the zandro community, so I made this. Vote for the modes you like, and maybe mention whether or not you prefer instagib in them to the standard.

Domination.


Instagib is only best for DM/TDM, in my opinion.

For my Other picks, I like Overload and 3-way CTF. There are a couple of modes out there I'd like to try if they could be made to work in Zan, like Double Domination for example.

Does Jumpmaze count as a game mode? ;)

1. Survival
2. Cooperative (For certain mods.)
3. Invasion (Survival or Normal, Survival preferred.)
4. Deathmatch
5. Team Deathmatch (For the rare mod and occasion it calls for.)

Cooperative and Deathmatch, and I occasionally enjoy TDM, Survival, Invasion, and CTF. Every now and then I'll attempt a duel, only to get my ass handed to me because I don't duel enough...

Any minus coop, duel and instagib

DM, TDM, Duel, TLMS (remnant of old Quake Clan Arena days), Survival.

Duel way above others, ctf, then a good survival or co-op, ill play dm and tdm but not too mad about it.

I highly doubt it. I'm pretty sure it's a survival co-op game or just co-op. Not sure, haven't played it an a long time.

(T)DM, (T)LMS, but the number one for me is invasion

I think if only one option was allowed, it would look A LOT different.
Actually the list doesn't differ that much from what we can see on servers. The general count for competitive vs. cooperative is 70% and 30%, and it seems right? Though, it seems that outside of popular mods, clan scrims and duels it's hard to find random people to join a "normal" deathmatch or some other fancy game mode.

DM, Skulltag, sometimes even Domination and AOW.

In no particular order: Invasion, Coop & Survival.

I suck at DM. Horribly.

All this proves is that possession mode isnt something ppl want to play :P

Solo Posession would be a lot better if the person holding the stone could use their weapons.

Basically any mode that focuses on killing stuff.

I am FAR too simple minded to understand complex concepts such as... flags and... green swirling stones.
