This is a very very weird graphical anomaly that has happened to me a few times with Skulltag in the past, and it happened recently with Zandronum too (although I wasn't able to capture it). I've witnessed it in both renderers although it seems to happen far more often in software.

What I want to know is: Has anybody else ever had this happen to them? Or is it just my hardware going screwy from all the pot smoke I've been blowing on it?

I'll post my specs once I find out (this recording didn't happen on my main computer, it happened on one of my old ones that I use for testing sometimes).

Also note how the HUD is fine and continues to update itself while the two bottom screen "frames" remain frozen, with bars of static inbetween them.

Never seen it happen on my machine.
What did you do to get this? Just start a new game single play or...?

Never happened to me either. Does this occur very often?

Hardly. It happens once in a blue moon and only on one of my computers. Happens on any wad, in any resolution, and in either renderer. There is really no way to test it or to "make" it happen. It just happens randomly.

He didn't ask his doctor if Zandronum was right for him.

This is the strangest graphic anomaly I've ever seen. Never happened to me.
