Well I don't know about you, but the new brutal doom looks amazing I can't wait, only way they could make it better for me personality, is if they had more monsters though I do like what they done with the old ones.

I'm excited because it's the last version and that means it can finally die.

Let's turn this into a more productive thread: list a sweet mod that isn't Brutal Doom, so that we can all broaden our horizons. Here, I'll start:

Hideous Destructor - quite possibly the most difficult (yet fair) Doom mod around. Play it on Doom 1 until you've mastered fighting its enemies, and on a difficulty lower than what you're used to.

Well this left a sour taste in my mouth but okay, how exactly is it bad? I mean I haven't seen much else interesting mods out there that change the game on this kind of level?

What level? The inventory fatalities or the 3d bloodsplats on ceiling?

I like it and I don´t like at the same time, but looking for the huge amount of videos that ´re made with brutal doom, I wouldn't tell you newb that it´ll die...

Honestly I see noting on ide, or doomseeker that is new in the way of mods, kinda all the same shit I see everyday.

Well modders in zandro have less options to radically modify gameplay than say zdoom maybe search zdoom's projects forums for new stuff..
Heretic,Strife and Hexen deserve more love online...

Heretic and Strife sure, but hexen is easily the most boring game out of all the doom clones.

I actually agree with this, I hardly play single player doom I get bored of it quickly because I have no one to play with I just kinda feel loney and empty like the worlds I have played on doom.

The last time I was excited for a brutaldoom release was v14.

Brutal Doom is fine, and I'm sure a lot of work went into it. I think that people are tired of its being hailed as some sort of Second Coming, that's all.

Hexen with a good mappack and the wad -I forgot name-that removed centaurs and replaced them with ettins make hexen way better :)

Monspeed is a nice alternative.. I should finish this wad.. [/Ads]

Sigh I don't know, maybe I like brutal doom cause it's a brake from all the horrible rehashed shit that gets made now days. I enjoy it because its like a breath of fresh air compare to meany moden games failing to entertain me.

I don't hate it but my ears don't like it -Earrape anyone-.. That doomguy voice is horrible.

I am a fan of Brutal Doom, and am wondering what the delay problems are on the release.

But to be honest I like Vanilla Doom just as much, really.

I can agree about the sound, that's why I never you headsets for games doom guy voice well it be a lot better but I enjoy it's overtop nature, but I love to hear about other mods that are like brutal doom, by which I mean have had a lot of work put into the mod, not aeod level though god no I have had enough of that mod for good.

Shooting Monsters With Guns is an amazing mod that's often overlooked.

One mod that would really interest me is something that replaces the regular monsters but sill let's me use other weapon and maps wads.
