Remastered Textures / Sprites / Models / Whatever

Greetings.
I fairly recently decided to come back to the Doom/Heretic/Hexen/Strife business as a player and Zandronum has struck me off as one of the best if not the best port out there - however, a couple years back (2005-ish?) I used Doomsday port for playing. Now, not only I cannot find the resources I used, the ones available seem to be less complete than I remember, but also Doomsday seems a bit strange to me nowadays.
Anyways, Zandronum and visual enhancements. Are there any? If not, where can I find enhancements for other ports and how must I repackage them so that they work with the Z? I'd appreciate the most complete listings possible.
Thank you very much in advance.

That's certainly one less to worry about. Thanks, -Jes-. I'm waiting for more. ;)

Here's the latest version of a Doom model pack for Zandronum/GZDoom made by -=Dark-Assassin=- a long time ago. You can put these in your skins folder and make sure to put the Zan-Models.pk3 after the GZ-Models.pk3.
Make sure you download both of them, too:
GZ-Models
Zan-Models

These aren't quite completely DoomsDay Models. There are mixes of a few things from JDRP 1.01, 1.1, and 2 of TeaMonster's Monster Models.
Also includes many static items from Generations Arena.
And as mentioned, it's a bit dated now.
If I get back to it, first thing to do is make the main pack consistent and everything else in an separate addons.
Also, note that GZDoom and Zandronum only have basic model support compared to DoomsDay, Vavoom and Risen3D, so things may not be as fancy and a few other things currently impossible to look right.

To use the Doom Hi-Res Texture Pack (linked above) in Zandronum, get the Doomsday version, open it like a zip file, and put the flats and textures folders into the zandronum folder. If you haven't messed with the texture options, they should work now. If you have changed some settings, go to Options / Display Options / OpenGL Options / Texture Options and make sure that Enable HiRes Textures is YES, and turn off all texture filters and resizing, which would slow even the best computers to a crawl when combined with hi-res textures.

Ah, so the ZDoom version is a wrong download? Okay.
About the Hexen/Heretic games, is there anything for them?

The (G)ZDoom version is archived, and so then all textures will be used regardless of that option. Also, it eats more memory having it in an archive.
For Heretic and Hexen, you could try looking for JHRP and JXRP (if they still exist) and just pop them in your Textures folder.
For Better sorting, this structure is allowed and does work.
These structures can be used both in Textures and Flats.
- Doom
- doom
- doom2
- doom2-plutonia (or doom2-plut)
- doom2-tnt
- Heretic
- Hexen
And here are some more folders, but I am unsure if they are used or not.
Raven, Strife, Chex
The Doom subfolders make it so there are specific textures for the specific IWAD.
Handy as they can have different textures between them, but the same texture name. Especially Skies and TNT's Switch Textures
There may be a subfolder for HexenDD, but not sure at all.
