I need help to start :D

It was 2009 when I started getting interested in doom, actually I was always a fan of oldschools, after all the old games were not made for the player to have to pay for dlc's, but for the same fun. And in those four years I've only played at maximum did some beta testing but nothing more. But it was a few weeks ago that I decided to keep this community alive doomer even more, so I looked for tutorials to learn how to edit sprites, programming, making maps and everything. But I could not understand almost nothing of this language, and here I am asking for your help to help you. The main reason to have difficulties to understand, was the reason English is not my native language, and not knowing exactly which programs to download. So, what do I come to ask you, is just a push to get started, maybe if I download certain programs, read some tutorials, I ate understand, after all do not have anything more frustrating than having sentences of plans and projects and can not them perform

Take a look at these videos also, they're very well made and you can see how to do what you want to do step-by-step.

I disagree. Gzdoom Builder is better in all sence. It's more friendly with users, especially with someone who just got started.

Oh, I've got two more questions:
- My 3 Slade does not want to, I just downloaded and installed the setup
- It is necessary which packs of textures and stuff to use Doom Builder?

I don't know why Slade doesn't work, but watching the videos I sent you, will answer your second question. :)

Yes, Zeberpal has a point. The old versions only had UDMF and Hexen format, but the newest SVN builds have Doom2 starting formats, therefore GZDoom Builder is the superior choice here. Concerning other formats such as Boom however, you will need Doom Builder 2 for that.
So, to sum up mapping and modding for the first time, I will give you a list of THE most important things:
1. Slade 3
2. Doom Builder 2/ GZDoom Builder
3. ZDoom wiki
4. Chubz
5. IRC
If you have acquired these things you are set.

Thank you, also, initially I wanted to know about mapping, but I saw that my interest is edition

Zdoom wiki should definitely be number 1.. a lot of things can be done with winrar and notepad already :P
also might give XWE a shot, its merciless but useful

False, did you ever look into your GZDB directories? You will find some goodies if you look in your folders...

Try this, you will find that things are not always as boring as they first seem....

XWE? Seriously? I guess if you like a program that crashes all the time and corrupts your projects...
Use either SlumpED or Slade 3.

Slade crashes me over and over... both of them crash don't get why XWE is thrown out -at least it makes 9999 backups-

Yeah that's not necessarily a good thing. Years ago when I was a young lad, my harddrive mysteriously ran out of space and I didn't know why. So I deleted some stuff (unused games, etc). Then I went back to editing and soon it filled up again. So I located the "temp" folder in my user folder, and HOLY SHIT ... there was gigabytes and gigabytes of XWE backup files in there. Not just entire wads, but individual LUMPS as well.
XWE really isn't good for anything anymore. There was a short period when it was useful for things like opening other games' packages (Duke, ROTT, Quake, Wolf3D) since SlumpEd couldn't do that, doing quick palette-swaps (a feature SlumpEd doesn't have), having a "quick search" bar, and exporting multiple lumps to file at once (SlumpEd can't do that, for some reason it prompts you for every single lump). But since we now have Slade3, which can do everything, there's really no reason to still use XWE.
