Plutonia Map 22 - Impossible Mission

I'm having a ton of trouble with this map. I looked for a sort of walkthrough online but the only one I found isn't in Ultraviolence. Does anyone know how to beat this map?
The problems:
1) When you spawn, you're surrounded by 4 chaingunners, and you have to throw yourself onto a slow moving lift in front of you in order to get down to ground level, at which the chaingunners can still fire at you. No matter which corner you turn, you encounter more enemies, and if you run into one area in order to actually get a weapon (SSG, with extremely slow reload time) you cause an archvile to start wandering around the starting area. So that beginning is a fuckfest. It can be overcome, though, it just shakes you up.
2) This is the part I haven't gotten past. In order to get the blue key, you drop down into a pit, and you're placed right up against a wall with chaingunners squishing you up against it. There are, like, 8 of them. Not so bad, but behind them is a line of barrels, a bunch of hellknights, and two Cyberdemons. Whatever, even that's okay to deal with. But the fucking kicker, the goddamn "make you want to quit" kicker, is that there are six "slime-fall" pillars in the room, and inside each of those pillars is an archvile. So look, you drop down and immediately the archviles see you and start attacking. If you shoot at all, you get everyone else focused on you. But you have to shoot because there's no way around the chaingunners. So say you shoot a chaingunner, cool- you can hit the line of barrels behind them and kill them all in one hit. But if the barrel explosions didn't kill you, the two Cyberdemons are RIGHT UP NEXT TO YOU, so if you run a certain way, they block you and kill you immediately. If you manage to get past them (which is tough, but can be done) you have to deal with the hellknights (whatever) and the archviles. The fucking archviles. So, okay, you can't kill all 6 of them quickly, and they have their eyes on literally the entire room, so you can't hide. Even if you could, the Cyberdemons would poop on you with a rocket. So the next best plan is to just bolt across the entire room and hope to God you can get to the other side and in a hallway for cover in time. So if by some miracle the archviles don't attack you immediately and you SOMEHOW make it across the room (because believe me, the room is big enough for you to get those things to kill you, even if you're sprinting) you run into the tiny narrow hallway on the other side only to be blocked immediately by a baron of hell. So you're stuck in a death trap with archviles all around you and two cyberdemons. There's no BFG before it, and there's nowhere to hide. Seriously, what in God's fucking name were these fuckers thinking when they made this map.
