I recommend Jupiterian CTF, it's a decent looking mapset and it flows reasonably well.

They are not necessary. Odamex-style flags are prettier than Skulltag- or ZDaemon-style, and they include a base that marks the starting location of the flag. ZandroSpree is an upgrade of SkullSpree, which adds an Unreal-like killing spree and multikill system to the existing medal system.

Odaflag is necessary, skulltag's default flag sprites are way too big.
