Need a little guidance in playing on ubuntu

I want to run a single player game with the rga2 wads. I tried running doomseeker and starting an offline server but I keep getting script errors and it wont start.
Script error, "rga2_nr6_refined015c.wad:D_PICKUP" line 121:
Replaced type 'Minigun' not found in GunSpawner6
I can put more terminal output if that helps.

EDIT: I have looked up how to do this on this forum and on google and I couldnt find a straight answer.
