Editing Gore into the Zandronum.pk3?

Sorry if this should be in help but I don't see it as a tech problem.
So recently I edited the blood splatters in the zandronum.pk3 to be a lot bloodier, for personal use. And I usually play with nashgore.wad, but do you think it would be possible to take the blood that falls to the ground in nashgore and put it directly into the zandronum.pk3? Or at least something like that?
What I would actually prefer is to have blood splatter also go on flats, like in Brutal DOOM. But would it be possible to add that right to the Zandronum.pk3? If so where?

They are actors, which means a huge resounding NO.

Zandronum's purpose is to remove all the frills that skulltag added to give the cleanest possible experience. It's easy enough to just load up mods that give this kind of behavior.

Except these mods also tend to change a lot more than just what I'm talking about here.

Personally, in a bit of (relevant) offtopic, custom blood decals could also add a little more than the spaghetti sauce stains Z& calls bloodstains. I remember a wad that had blood decals from F.E.A.R. that were made to go in a person's skins folder. If anyone still has a copy, that'd be fantastic.

Actually I put those blood decals in my zandronum.pk3 as part of my personal little "blood mod"

Wow, that was fast. Because the thing was first released years ago, I wasn't sure if anyone had it. Even the original author of the pack said he deleted them long ago. I'll back it up on a few locations just in case this time.
Thanks, man.
Ontopic, you can change anything that's not a "protected" lump. Basically, this means you can edit cosmetic things like sprites, sounds, decals, and things like SNDINFO and HUDs. Beyond that, there's not much you can add that will let you play online without getting kicked for level authentication errors.
Another note worth mentioning is that Brutal Doom does its floor bloodsplat "decals" in an unconventional way: they're actually just simple 3d model entities made to look like decals.
Thirdly, modifying zandronum.pk3 itself is probably not the safest route. Could screw something up and have to redownload it all again. Just do all your modifications in its own little .pk3 patch to load whenever you play. If there are no "protected" lumps in it, it's even safe to toss it into your skins folder to autoload whenever you play online too.
