Hires Switch Broken?

Hey there, I have been using KuriKai's Hires texture pack for awhile now. And well, it just so happens, that there is no more Skulltag Package, which worked just fine. Now, there is only G/Zdoom (same package...), Doomsday, and Risen 3d.

So, I go to download the G/Zdoom package, and well, they work, but When I try to toggle them off in the OpenGL>Texture Menu, it will not turn off. I was told by Dark-Assassin, that I must extract them into /skins, and it should work as expected..

I have done so, and had no results. So, next he told me to get the Doomsday Pack. I have, and well, the textures are HUGE, and yet no way to toggle it off..

So how do we get them to work now? Btw, here is the link to the packages.

<Dark-Assassin> It does work
<Dark-Assassin> only if you use extracted textures.
<Dark-Assassin> Ie: Textures and Flats folders in your Zandronum/GZDoom folder.

It won't work with the ZDoom versions as it uses the hires folder to force them, but extracting the Doomsday one works perfectly.

Eh, I'm gonna feel dumb posting this, being a newbie and all but.. I changed the pk3, to zip, Extracted those folders into /skins.. And well no go, I go to toggle the Hires Textures though the Menu.. No change. What am I doing wrong?

You are supposed to extract the Textures and Flats folders to your game's directory, as I said above. Not your skins directory.

To anyone else reading this, the ZDoom and GZDoom versions use a different, slower hack method, yet the Doomsday one extracted in your game's directory works just as fast.
