C'mon guys, we need bots. How much $ to make it happen?

I created suggestion:
http://zandronum.com/tracker/view.php?id=1246
But, people are commenting all sorts of stuff. It's turning out to be a discussion.
I found out that Dusk is the only person that has come close enough to getting good bots working, but he said it turned out to be more limited than he thought and that Zandronum would somewhat need an overhaul.
If that's true, then damn! Sounds like we'll never have bots! BAH!
How much $ to make this happen?
No, really. How much?
It all comes down to money, and we have people willing to pay it; so what does it hurt you? Doesn't hurt you.
We know we can get people to make bots happen if we pay enough $ for it, so the question is, how much is enough?
Surely there are some adults here that would like to humor/indulge me a bit here, and to give a guess on what might be involved/required and then estimate a $ based on that.

Au contraire. Paying cash money for game modding is the surest way to kill it.

I will take it upon myself to create smarter coop bots, using Dusk's new BOTSCRIPT-compiler, for a small gratuity of ...
$800. US. In non-consecutive bills, please.

eight hundred bucks?! what the ****
j/k j/k
sounds like a fair price, but I don't have $800 to spend on this. but thanks for mentioning it though.
it turns out I'm looking for something that requires no AI. Only several console commands that control the bot; I posted an update about those commands just now in that ticket link (above). but, there was more discussion, and I think I'm going to follow-up on that post with more information first.

You should really check up on those DECORATE bots, since AFAIK they actually WORK in co-op. From there, it's all a matter of adding in the features you want, which could be possible with ACS. In your tracker ticket, you said that someone was already working on this.

Bots are very easy to do, they're just time consuming and very boring. Why are you even paying someone to do it whereas you can just pick up the process in a week and get to it? Seems very redundant to me.

How enjoyable a game would be with bots really depends on the game or mod itself.

Decorate coop marines can't hit a switch/solve a puzzle or do all that much more complex than follow you and shoot monsters.

YES, I found out about these on IRC, but I haven't had a chance to post about it in here. Thanks ibm5155, though.
These helped me very much. I can now quickly determine how much damage 4 players do to monsters, and determine how/if 4 players can survive a certain encounter I have set up, for my 4player co-op megawad coming up called "Zone F"

It helps when you´re in offline mods like armageddon, that the only thing required is follow and shoot monsters :D (it could be nice if they could take weapons on the floor)
