Doom2 - Map10
BrutalDoom - Everything
Ghouls vs Humans - Getting a kill with Choke's bloodball when you weren't even trying. (Before any of that Nordic Saga garbage.)

I've always loved the music in Cyb's mod, Void

Oneshot: it's broken online (or rather, Zandronum is)!
Samsara: it's broken online in ZDoom!
Shared Resources: its armor system is broken and its a huge pain in the ass to fix and I still haven't figured out how to fix it!
ACSTris: its SRS is broken!
Parkmore: well shit... um... its dodges were complained about?

Black People Vs. Cops: I can't snort crack cocaine!

Super Skulltag: Spraypaint.

Vacav14.wad - It's like a vacation but you don't have to deal with leaving home or any other fees, too bad no one has played it online since 2010 or so EDIT: Just got a hold of vacav15.wad
Simpsons doom - Colors and the fact that it's simpsons
Whatdafuck5.wad - Best wad ever made hands down, love the maps, sounds, humor, music, etc
Raven jailbreak - I always loved watching people get killed in jail, that one guy as mass mouth take up the whole screen, and the random escapes from death. Why doesn't anyone play this anymore?

It's funny because I remade this and made it actually work a while back...

Anyway my favorite mod I remember playing was the old Mercenaries 1.9

Brutal Doom : "Go fuck yourself!"
GVH : Jitterskull , Course.
Doom Metal Wad : Guess.
Shotgun Frenzy : Combat Frenzy mode.
ARMEDRecruit : Everything.

Even though I didn't play it a lot, I think it's one of the best modifications for DooM.
I see a lot of potential in it, I wish I could give tips but I don't know what to suggest since I didn't play it much.

My favourite part of the DooM wads is... DooM! (yes it was so trivial that I didn't answer initially)

I like spams in general regarding rocket spam in competitive mods (ctf and duels), bfg and rocket spawn kills,
bfg spam on the lot of monsters in coops and survivals, mech spam in AOW (beside class mixing and stealth-chainsaw), bertholite spam in Who Dun it.

I think mine are :
The Sky May Be (this is as strange at hell).
UAC LAbs this is an other Eric Harris masterpiece imho
