AOW2 Kind of needs mappers..

Well yeah, kind of throwing this out here. We have a pretty damn big project here, and only one who can actually map on it. (OH SNAP)
This is not exactly an optimal situation, as you can guess. Which is why I kind of decided just now to just put out a little thread about it.
If someone is interested, do join #Omega (we're there most of the time) and have a chat, or a cup of tea or something.

But yeah, just throwing this out here. Do be aware that mapping for AOW2 probably doesn't go as easily as ye olde doom mappe.
(In fact, we mostly have bad/mediocre maps at the moment.. Hm, why do we need more mappers again? OH)

Well what can I say, it's not like I'm demanding anything from anyone. Just raising it up to see if there's any interest at all.

What do you guys think of Aow02 style maps? (bad detailing but extremely fun gameplay)

They get overplayed, but they're fun. And they can be detailed by someone else. I think they might be talking about me in terms of the only mapper here, even though I've been greatly inactive.

Dusk really is our mapper for all I've witnessed, but I really don't feel well about that what with him having multiple unfinished maps and quite a bunch of reworks.
Also, AOW02 is one of the worst maps, due to the fact that if it's played properly;
If the enemy exploits the big rock wall hiding them from the obelisk at the opposing team's tiberium field early on, they starve the team and totally lock them out from progressing.
All while they're getting tons of money from harvesters and eventually flood their totally credit starved faces with everything they have accumulated, if this is not breached.
Which, in term - is really god damn hard to do, because the map is small enough that any partial damage that you may do is replaced within twenty seconds. (At which point you start over again.)

Please put any requests you have for resources in your project thread, otherwise tons of request threads will start popping up.
