Zandronum

Hi, ... zandronum on ubuntu work perfectly, but ... doomseeker can't launch zandronum even that path's are correct (to wads also) and the manual connect over command work. But doom seeker fail when it must join server and launch zandronum. Anyone know how fix this ?

I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to be joining servers in the first place as your ban is still active.

Its not couse ban (it won't let you to load servers),it's old banned get almost 2 years ago +- on skulltag (now expired but i disagrred with someone else and really its old storry i was idiot when i used it > don't open it) i am playing through another way (on windows versions it works normally but i don't prefer them much) :// Or i should try IDE but not sure if its multiplatform

i am not solving if i am banned or not (on new ip not) just that doomseeker xD

Maybe check in the doom seeker config to see where it points to wads. I've had problems with doomseeker understanding some directory's (no idea why). And yeah I think IDE is just windows, which is a shame.

Hm cool so for that fool who get the work to ban me again, it is really true that zandronum stuff is just group of idiots (Original ban i accept > i don't played for year and expired that's all) and the only way to play is play completly anonymously. For luck i have still a way around. but trust you will never find couse i won't be same fool to show you IP on forum so screw you!

So I'll just ignore your last post there. The solution to the problem is likely you need to point to /usr/bin/zandronum not /usr/games/zandronum/zandronum. The former is a shell script that tells zandronum where fmod is located.

Is there a particular reason why the shell script is necessary? All the previous versions I'm familiar with did not require this? What was changed?

Couse someone keep trying to find my ip adress to ban again ? for ban on skulltag expired 2 years ago? yes,. I don't played skulltag for year couse i agreed with ban, but when time of expiration come i just don't get chance so i find another ways. just closed skulltag topic,

Your bans are still active. They're not up for appeal. And yes, if you evade, you will be caught.
