I am just going to spread my appreciation around for a moment, as the wiki is a team effort - not an individual effort. I would like to thank Eruanna for originally starting the new wiki database and helping me during its very early developments, and I would also like to thank Konar6 for taking over the hosting duties and continuing to keep the wiki alive today. Without them, the wiki - would probably not be present today. Moreover, I would also like to thank those few that took their time to create and\or modify articles and the contents within the wiki. Thanks to them, they supplied better nicer warning or caution boxes, article for compiling Zandronum in Linux, MODELDEF walk-through's, updating the DMFlag's list, and much more. Thank you and keep the wiki alive everyone!

TBH.. I'm getting kinda burnt out on having to Look up stuff in the Wiki because everyone is just.. can't use the search at all. I mean, its not that hard to find anything on the wiki, other then when you do use search, it will bring you to the Article, but not to the line you want to look at.

Anyhow, on the other hand, I feel like nobody even bothers to look, and just ask on IRC, and repeatedly till someone answers them. Ofc, the zdoom wiki is also a good place to look for Help but come on people..

Read the F&(&#ing Wiki :/

Qent.. if you read.. that is PART of the problem there.. I can point them TO the link, but I have to tell them to Scroll down and find what I was pointing out. Anyhow.. it would be nice if some people would Update the Wiki if they say it lacks information.

You are free to do so anyhow, just leave a side note explaining and junk.

I am just going to leave this idea here for anyone that is willing to implement it on this current wiki (or the next). The current general layout for Console Commands, Server Variables, and Console Variables is generally an eyesore. A way to make this seem better on the eyes and to organize these lists better is by grouping the relevant commands together into their own specific page. For example, the ZDoom Wiki, or for those that remember the ancient SkullTag Wiki from 97c2 console categories.

Is it possible to allow partial matches? Sometimes if you don't type EXACTLY what you're looking for it returns nothing.
There probably is some symbol/token for this though

Thank you everyone that has been contributing to the Wiki! With contributions from the community (and abroad), we can make the Zandronum Wiki even better! For those that have not contributed - and would like too, everyone is eligible to create a new account on the Zandronum Wiki and simply revise or create articles. This Wiki is for the community, by the community; thus all contributions matters for everyone, regardless the weight of the content.

I don't want to jinx this moment, but really - thank you everyone :)
Now the Zandronum Wiki is not one of my failed projects; closure feels nice :)

If I have some extra time, I may contribute some obsecure and missing features from Zandronum onto the wiki. I've also already made a checklog of old bugs from the tracker. Anyone that wants to chip in can do so.

What is everyone's opinion about the current theme of the main page on the wiki, and hypothetically, what is everyone's thought about using the wiki as the main site for Zandronum?

I think the wiki link should appear in gigantic links whenever someone tries to post in specifies topics on THIS forum because that'd reduce the number of questions..

I think the main page could benefit from some icons to look more "friendly". tbh most of the time problems people face are what function to use from zdoom wiki.. zan wiki is helpful to some advanced stuff so its like a high level wiki :P

hallo everyone!

With Zandronum 2.0 released, it seems the wiki is a bit behind with the latest CVar's and flags. Someone should consider rolling up their sleeves and adding them in!

Bump because nobody will read a talk page on the wiki:

Can the clan page have an inactive section because half of those clans are dead with the only notice being some crappy (Disbanded) text, or is this a terrible idea?

I'd say either make a separate section of the same page for dead clans or move them to a dead-clan page. I would rather opt to remove all the disbanded and dead clans.
dewsome: i can do this all day

I am sorry, Sean, I was able to find a bit more articles that might be missing or bad links that needs redirections. I know that the older database was destroyed with utter rubbish, but is it possible that these articles can be magically recovered or corrected?
